Cybersecurity - NISS
This section is dedicated to the supervision of cybersecurity and the security of the networks and information systems of entities falling within the remit of the Luxembourg Regulatory Institute, in accordance with the Law of 5 May 2026 on measures to ensure a high level of cybersecurity, which transposes the NIS 2 Directive (EU 2022/2555) into Luxembourg law.
The Luxembourg Regulatory Institute is the competent authority responsible for cybersecurity under this Act and for the supervisory and enforcement tasks referred to in Chapter 6 for the sectors listed in Annexes I and II and critical entities as referred to in the Act of 5 May 2026 on the resilience of critical entities.
